Slide Deck: Word Match is a chill word-sorting game — you get a bunch of word cards and drag them into the right category columns on a colorful grid. That's basically it.
It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like — you read the word, figure out where it goes, and drag it there. Kitchen words go under Kitchen, animal names go under Animals, flowers go under Flowers, and so on.
No timers, no tutorial walking you through what a word is (yes, some games do that) — just the board, the words, and you.
Each level gives you a hand of word cards and a few category columns — your job is just to match them up. Drag a word card from your hand and drop it into the category that fits best.
Clear every category and that's it, you're done — next level just kind of appears before you've even set your phone down. The further in you get, the more categories pile up — and honestly some of those words will have you staring at the screen like, wait, where does THAT go — like, you'll actually have to sit there and think for a second.
Honestly the controls are kind of self-explanatory — there's nothing to learn, you just... do it. You open it for five minutes and somehow it's been twenty.
Play at 2pm, play at 2am — we're genuinely not judging. We've definitely been there.
We actually sat down and built every puzzle ourselves — no word-list generator doing the heavy lifting for us. And when we say harder, we mean it — the words get genuinely weirder, not just 'congrats, here's column number six.' The words themselves get weirder.
We've got Animals, Desserts, Flowers, Weather, Kitchen, Transport — honestly more categories than we expected to end up with.
Every card's got a tiny icon on it — nothing fancy, just enough that you're never squinting at a word going 'wait, is that a food?'
No countdown, no stress — just sit with it as long as you need.
No wifi needed — we built it to work offline because honestly, that's half of when you'd want to play it.
You know exactly who you are — phone out at midnight, some word thing open, telling yourself it's relaxing. That's exactly who we made this for. It's not your typical word puzzle — same general vibe, but the sorting mechanic makes it feel fresh — it sounds almost embarrassingly simple until you look up and realize you've been at it for twenty minutes.
Early levels are pretty breezy, but don't get too comfortable — some of those later words are sneaky. Some words are obvious right away. Others make you pause for a second, compare categories, and choose carefully.
And no ad suddenly screaming at you right when you're one card away from finishing — we hate that too, so we didn't do it. Just you and the board, and that moment when the last card drops in and you just sit back like — okay. yeah. good.
